There’s Some Good News On The Weather Front For Anyone Heading To Slane

mariemadden

After a scorcher of a week, music fans heading to today’s Guns & Roses gig at Slane Castle could have been forgiven for having the SPF and open-toed sandals ready.

Unfortunately, the weather took a turn overnight and it’s been letting it down in Dublin over the past few hours.

All is not lost though, as hourly forecasts are predicting that conditions will improve later in the evening.

Gates open at Slane from 2pm and The Weather Network is forecasting that the rain will start to abate by 5pm with dry conditions for the rest of the night.

Temperatures will stay around 15 degrees Celsius for most of the day, dropping closer to 13 degrees by 10pm.

This is Ireland so you never know what you’re going to get weather-wise but at least there’s a little light on the horizon!
