This Brand New Food Market Will Completely Change The Game For Dublin’s Foodie Scene

The best cities around the world have great street food scenes, and/or foodie markets, that have a permanent home.

While Dublin does a lot of great things those are two boxes that we just don't tick very well.

Until now...

Eatyard is a new project from the folks in Bodytonic who are behind the likes of Beatyard Festival, The Big Grill and a bunch of great bars around the city.

The concept is simple – 20 foodie stalls that will change on a regular basis.

This reminds me of markets in Copenhagen, Borough Market in London or the beautiful covered market in Madrid – and it is exactly what this city needs.

There have been some half-arsed attempts to do this already but you know these guys will do it right.

As they say themselves:

"Our aim at Eatyard is to elevate Irish Street Food to a new level and bring a unique casual dining experience to Dublin. We are looking for innovative & creative food producers, chefs, cooks or vendors who follow the ethos of doing something simple really well. Whether you are coming to the market for the first time or bringing your talents from an established kitchen out to the streets, we are interested in hearing from you and what you have to offer."

I have absolutely no doubt that the queues will be snaking down the road for miles.
