Well, we certainly didn’t see this one coming.
Dublin city pub, East Side Tavern, has closed down for good, according to the bar’s Facebook Page.
Owners took to social media to announce the closure, thanking their customers for their business over the years.
The short post in its entirety says:
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that East Side Tavern is permanently closed. Thank you to all our customers, regulars and staff for the good times and good beers. We’ll miss ya!”
The Dublin 2 pub is known for it’s great cocktails, deadly food and incredible selection of beverages available.
East Side Tavern even won the Irish Restaurant Awards ‘Best Gastro Pub Dublin’ award in 2015.
A sad day for city centre bar lovers.
