This House For Sale In Harold’s Cross Proves Dublin Has Reached Peak Housing Crisis

Sarah

We’ve seen our fair share of grim properties for sale in Dublin, but the latest listing we’ve come across on Daft really brings it to an extreme.

49 Harold Cross Road is a two-bed, one-bath terraced house that’s up for sale for €345,000, and it’s so awful we can’t quite believe it.

The estate agent describes the home as a “unique home with an abundance of charm and character”, but one glance inside and it looks more like a home from the set of a horror movie than anything half livable.

This doesn’t even count as a fixer-upper. It’s absolutely outrageous that a house this shite is going for almost 350k.

The exterior looks smoke damaged, and the garden is in absolute tatters

But it’s the inside of the house that is the most shocking

Sure, you get to live in the lovely area of Harold’s Cross, but is it worth it? You’d want to get a proper surveyor in to have a poke around here before even thinking about buying it with plans to restore.

Quite frankly, it’s the worst property for sale in the price range we’ve come across. Horrific.
