This Scorpion Scared The Absolute Shite Out Of Some Dublin Builders Yesterday

If you work on a building site in Dublin, the last thing you would expect to find would be a scorpion on your site.

Well, this was the scary case for builders on a Baggot Street building site when this little fella came out of a delivery of sinks.

Our hearts would have caved in!

The call was received by the Dublin SPCA yesterday morning and experts were called in to identify the little creature.

There is only a few Scorpion species that are deadly, but we can imagine that they can give a nasty sting.

Ouch.

The Dublin SPCA said that the little visitor arrived with a delivery of sinks and is suspected to be an unwitting passenger possibly from Turkey.

Jaysus…

The scorpion has been nicknamed JP and measures just under 4cm.

JP is currently in the care of DSPCA while they are awaiting identification on the scorpion’s species.

What would you do if you found a scorpion in your workplace?

We would die.
