This Young Irish Singer Just Knocked Everyone's Socks Off On BBC's Glastonbury Coverage
Take a bow, Aine Cahill
We told you before about the amazing talent that is Áine Cahill – a young Cavan lady who's been compared to Adele, Lana Del Ray and Amy Winehouse.
Since then, she's garnered serious attention for her signature tune Black Dahlia (which you can see above), appearing on radio stations, in newspapers, and developing an ever-growing online following.
Tonight her star rose even higher, with a primetime slot on the BBC coverage of Glastonbury, where she was performing this weekend – and the reaction on Twitter was insane.

What a beautiful voice Aine Cahill (sorry if not correct spelling) on the @bbc2 acoustic slot #Glasto2016— Dr Paula Owens FRGS (@Primageographer) June 26, 2016
We named her in a recent list of young people shaping modern Ireland, and she's certainly delivering on that promise.
So fantastic to see yet another person flying the flag for Ireland abroad!
