A woman and two young children have died following an overnight blaze in Clondalkin.
The woman, aged 27 and two young girls, aged 2 and 3, were taken to Tallaght Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
As well as this, another woman and a boy aged 4 remain in a critical condition in both St James Hospital and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
According to Dublin Live, emergency services were called to the apartment at Kilcronan Avenue in Clondalkin at 2.30am on Wednesday morning.
Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade were on the scene.

The announced that the fire was officially extinguished at 3:46am.

Five people were in the apartment at the time of the fire.
The scene in sealed off for further investigations later today.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to contact them at Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
