Three Upcoming Garda Strikes Have Been Called Off

Three upcoming Garda strikes have today been deferred. 

The Garda Representative Association’s Central Executive Committee have suspended the work stoppages, according to the Independent.ie. 

Gardaí were to strike on every Friday of this month, and last week’s strike, was called off just hours before it was set to begin. 

The GRA will ballot its 10,500 members on a Labour Court recommendation that could resolve the row from November 14 to 28.
