Traffic is at a standstill on the Merrion Road due to a “serious collision” at the Merrion Gates.
The outbound road and access to Strand Road through the gates have both been blocked, and tailbacks heading out of the city centre are severe, a witness at the scene has told Lovin Dublin.
According to gardai, emergency services are at the scene, and major delays are to be expected.
