Things are changing in Twitter’s Dublin HQ…
Following the departure of the previous director after just five months, Anthony Noto, CFO/COO of Twitter, has announced that Sinead McSweeney will take over the role of Managing Director of Twitter Dublin.
Excited to announce @smcs as our new Managing Director of @TwitterDublin. A person of strong character and an inspirational leader.

Mark Little, the previous MD, announced he was leaving the tech giant’s Dublin offices at the beginning of this month.
He says he has “no definite plans” for what he’ll do next.
To those who’ve asked, no definite plans. Taking some time to reconnect with my roots in news at a time of big challenges & big opportunity

New MD Sinead McSweeney has previously worked as Director of Communications for An Garda Síochána, and Director of Media and Public Relations for the PSNI.
However, she has spent the last four years in senior management at Twitter.
She will also continue in her role as Vice President of Public and Communications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Twitter recently just expanded their Dublin office near Fenian Street and took over the old Cumberland House. Their Dublin headquarters is the next biggest after the US, and covers the whole EMEA area.
Pretty slick.
