Dublin fire fighter Sean Peters founded Save A Selfie in order to help save lives around Ireland by encouraging people to take a selfie with emergency equipment, like life rings and defibrillators, to the Save A Selfie app, which attaches your picture to a map so that these life-saving devices can be located quickly.
You can download the free application at the app store here; it’s not available on android just yet, but will be very soon.
