WATCH: Illegally Parked Cars Force Cyclists Off Cycle Path In Phoenix Park

A new segregated cycle track which was opened on Wellington Road in the Phoenix Park just two months ago has become overrun with vehicles parked along the cycle track and double yellow lines.

A video posted by Dublin Cycling Campaign shows how bikes are forced onto the road in the park, potentially into oncoming traffic.

Dublin Cycling Campaig say that "the Phoenix Park is a popular location for novice cyclists to gain experience and become comfortable handling a bike on the roads."

The added:

"How selfish of the people who parked here to put those novice bikers in harm's way like this!"
