It’s reported in The Irish Independent that there were 15 people in the building on the North Circular Road when the alarm was raised soon after 5am this morning.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene. The fire broke out on second floor of the three storey property, which is near to the Phoenix Park.

Two people, a woman and children were rescued from the second floor, and remaining residents evacuated.

The fire was brought under control, with emergency crews staying at the scene to ensure it didn’t spread to search neighbouring properties.
