YES – Dublin Is Gonna Be An Absolute Scorcher This Week

Sarah

Throw away the winter jackets once and for all we reckon, ‘cos it looks like that sly dog sunshine is coming back to stay – for at least a few days.

Met Eireann are forecasting a decent day today with temperatures in Dublin reaching 18 degrees: “Dry for much of today with mild sunny spells at times Cloud, and patchy rain and drizzle, developing later today but amounts will be generally small. Highs of 16 to 18 degrees.”

Tomorrow and Thursday gets a bit cooler so save those afternoon pints for Friday lads and lassies.

Friday will see highs of 18 degrees while Saturday will reach a thirst inducing 19

Highest temperatures on Friday will range “13 to 17 or 18 degrees Celsius, all sunshine dependent with best values likely inland”, while Saturday will “14 to 19 degrees Celsius, all in light southerly breezes, with best values trending further north of the country.”

But (yes, there’s always a ‘but’ when it comes to Irish weather), make the most of it. The forecast for Sunday is predicting: “A degree of uncertainty still, but it is likely to turn more unsettled with temperatures slipping back.”

Ah. Slipping back. Right.
