John C Reilly looks like a man that could store away a few pints of the black stuff.

He was in Ireland to promote the Irish release of the sequel to ‘Wreck It Ralph’, ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’.

On Tuesday night, Reilly spent some time in Dublin’s Anglers Rest where he learned how to pull pints.

Speaking to Today FM’s Dermot & Dave, Reilly said that: “I thought it was going to be fun, I think my pint was pretty well pulled, I got a few nods from a man at the bar.”

Reilly, who has irish roots, likes to belt out the odd song to and his renowned for his version of The Wild Rover.

“It can sound like a soccer chant or a football chant, you gotta let the verses air out a little bit and then everyone together for the chorus, right?,” he told the radio hosts.

Reilly loves Ireland so much that he has previously said that he’s “trying to get a citizenship as soon as possible”.

“I hope someone has the good sense to send me a passport,” he joked a few months ago.

“I had a very Irish upbringing, I think I had 35 first cousins, they are insane.”
