PIC: This New Lounge In Dublin Airport Has Been Inspired By Newgrange

seank

If you’re travelling to the States via Dublin Airport anytime in the future, you’ll be able to visit this Newgrange-inspired lounge.

Located just after US Preclearance in Terminal 2, the area known as 51st&Green is only available to transatlantic passengers travelling with Aer Lingus, Delta Airlines, United and American Airlines.

Taking inspiration from Meath’s prehistoric monument Newgrange, travellers enter the area through a 32-metre corridor over terrazzo tiles spaced with bronze strips, terminating in a bright open space with excellent views of the airfield.

Take a look at it below.

The new lounge has seating for 180 people and comes with refreshment facilities, free wifi, luxury shower rooms, an entertainment area with sports channels, a private area for Platinum Service customers, printing facilities, and a concierge service.

Sooo, what do you think of it?
