PIC: This New Repeal The 8th Mural Has Just Appeared

"Let's do this. It's about time we treat the women in our society equally and fairly"

There's been a public outcry ever since the Repeal the 8th mural on the Project Arts Centre was removed earlier this week, but now it has a spiritual successor.

The new mural has taken inspiration from Maser's original piece, but it's also very different. It was painted by artist Dara Kenny on a wall in Arklow yesterday.

Check it out below.

The artist wrote on his Facebook page,

While Maser's piece was removed for not following proper Dublin City Council procedures, Kenny's mural won't be affected any such issues as it's located on a designated graffiti wall.

What do you think of the piece? Let us know in the comments.
