PICS: The Buckfast Mojito Is Now A Thing And We’re Not Sure How We Feel About It

The mixologists of the world are clearly feeling inspired at the moment, because the latest weird cocktail to come into existence is a mojito featuring Buckfast.

There’s been a trend of late to turn childhood ice creams into intriguing new alcoholic concoctions, and now it seems the infamous tonic wine is getting similar treatment.

According to the good folks at DailyEdge, ‘The Buckito’ was invented by Scot Ruaraidh McAvoy (based on an idea by his friend Zack Faulker) as “a Scottish twist on the original mojito”. 

The cocktail is made using mint, lime, and 50ml of the “finest vintage Wreck The Hoose Juice” (we’re assuming that means Buckfast).
