Properties in Ashtown

If you have tried to get onto the property ladder before, you know that it’s in no way an easy process. It’s probably one of the biggest milestones in someone’s life, after all. But, here are some properties in Ashtown for you to consider.

So, a little guidance would probably make the world of difference.

Well, we have once again teamed up with AIB to bring you our Livin Dublin series, which will see us highlight different areas around Dublin and help you explore your options as a first-time buyer.

This time, we decided to take a look at the North Dublin neighbourhood of Ashtown, located just north of the Phoenix Park between Blanchardstown and Cabra.

(Psst! Make sure you try AIB’s handy mortgage calculator here to find out how much you could borrow!)

Our friends at Perfect Property have selected five properties in Ashtown that might be of interest to anyone looking to get themselves onto the property ladder:

1. 14 Martin Savage Park Ashtown, Ashtown, Dublin 15 (€350,000)

This three-bedroom family home, which occupies an area of approximately 85 sq.m./915 sq.ft., is located in a quaint little residential area just off the Navan Road and beside Rathborne Village.

On the ground floor, there is a hallway which leads you to a living room, which has a solid timber floor and an open fireplace. There’s also a dining area with an extended kitchen and a sliding door that provides access to the sunny west facing back garden.

Then, on the first floor, there are three bedrooms: two doubles and a single, all complete with laminate flooring and built-in wardrobes. There’s also a fully-tiled family bathroom with an electric shower.

2. 17 Compass Court North Royal Canal Park, Ashtown, Dublin 15 (€210,000)

This one-bedroom first-floor apartment spans 50 sq metres. Built in 2004, it consists of a welcoming hallway with storage room, a large decorated and open plan living/dining/kitchen area, a double bedroom (with built-in wardrobe) and a family bathroom.

The apartment block has walking/jogging paths, shops, a train station and even the Phoenix Park close by.

Being just 7km north-west of the city centre, it’s rather easy to make your way to central stations such as Connolly, Tara Street and Pearse Street.

3. 24 Clearwater Court North Royal Canal Park, Ashtown, Dublin 15 (€265,000)

This fabulous two-bedroom/two-bathroom top-floor apartment is located close to all of the local amenities such as the Royal Canal walkway, shops, restaurants, Ashtown railway station and various bus routes.

The property itself is comprised of an entrance hall, an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, two double bedrooms (master bedroom comes with an en suite), a main bathroom and two balconies.

4. 13 Compass Court North, Ashtown, Dublin 15 (€350,000)

This stunning three-bedroom penthouse apartment is also surrounded by pretty much everything you’d need: shops, cafes, transport and the Phoenix Park.

The apartment is made up of an open plan spacious sitting room, a fully fitted modern kitchen, a dining area, three spacious bedrooms with built-in floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, a fairly large hot press and a fully tiled bathroom with a three-piece suite.

Plus, one of the bedrooms has a stylish en suite with a standing shower unit.

5. 14 Meridian Court, Ashtown, Dublin 15 (€255,000)

Being one of the more modern properties in Ashtown, this slick and spacious two-bedroom apartment is located close to all the local amenities, including Broombridge Luas station.

It consists of a bright welcoming entrance hall with two storage cupboards, a large light-filled lounge featuring timber flooring, a modern fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms (the master bedroom is complete with an ensuite and access to the balcony), and the main fully-tiled family bathroom.
