It’s been mere hours since Ireland were drawn against Denmark in the World Cup Play-off and the slagging has already begun.
Dublin Airport has called out its Copenhagen counterpart on Twitter with a less than subtle nod to the Viking Invasion of Ireland of years gone by.
The Danish capital is set for an invasion of its own when Ireland fans travel for the first leg of the two-legged clash on Saturday November 11 and our main airport seems happy to call on history to motivate our troops.
Hi @CPHAirports; get ready for a green invasion. It’s payback time for your Viking raiders. #WorldCup2018 #COYBIG pic.twitter.com/cG9owW8kV6

They followed it up by saying they’re looking forward to welcoming Danish fans to Dublin for the return leg on Tuesday November 14.
PS We look forward to welcoming @DBUfodbold fans to Dublin.
