Bray’s Katie Taylor won the first fight of her professional career against Poland’s Karina Kopinska in the SSE Arena at Wembley yesterday.
And she absolutely knocked it flying out of the park.
It what could’ve been one of the most one-sided fights ever, Taylor demolished Kopinska in under five minutes.
The ref stopped the fight 58 seconds into the third round naming Katie Taylor the victor.
She was fast. She was ferocious. She was ready.
“It’s a massive privilege and a massive night for women’s boxing. I’ve been training so hard these last couple of months. I’m in fantastic shape but I’m not getting too carried away.”
Katie Taylor
The perfect beginning to what will be a stunning professional career.
And she has some crowd behind her:
