Move over, sliced bread. Taylor Swift is now the greatest thing ever.
That’s if reviews of the star’s Reputation show at Croke Park last night are anything to go by. Fans descended on GAA HQ in their droves (note: I should know… I wasn’t allowed on the 16 bus into town yesterday evening because it was too packed with Dublin Swifties) and they were not disappointed it seems.
RTÉ called the performance ‘pure pop perfection’ and judging by Twitter, a lot of people were in agreement:
Thank you @taylorswift13 for a night of pure unadulterated joy for my six year old. Emily’s first ever concert is one she won’t forget. She said on the bus home, “Dad it was all women doing the singing and dancing, the men only did the boring stuff” #repTourDublin pic.twitter.com/iAJs7QRm1S

Taylor Swift put on such a good show, a wonderfully entertaining night. Even better when your ticket is for the premium section, free of charge and courtesy of the GAA.

I’m not going to lie, I cried so many times last night. It was a magical rollercoaster of emotions. Hearing @taylorswift13 sing Long Live 7 years after the first time I heard it live. That was something ??#reptourDublin

Great news if you’re heading to see Taylor for her second Croke Park show this evening. Check the link below if you’re looking for a decent feed beforehand but please… don’t forget to Shake It Off afterwards (you thought we’d spare you the puns. You were wrong.)
