It seems that most of the good people of Dublin listened to the advice of authorities today and sought shelter indoors away from the battering winds of ex-hurricane Ophelia.
However, a few people who did brave the streets during the calm before the storm managed to capture some pretty unusual scenes on camera: Dublin’s streets free of people in broad daylight.
Now that mightn’t seem particularly interesting, but our city without people in it is something you just don’t see very often.
That’s why there’s something just a little bit eerie about these snaps…
