Is your wardrobe bursting with old denim gear which you have no intention of ever wearing again? This weekend’s DIY Denim Workshop is exactly what you need.
Hosted by Geraldine Carton and Taz Kelleher, who you might know from the Sustainable Fashion Dublin Insta account, the event promises to ‘encourage people to give their old denim a second life and having fun as they do so.’
Geraldine describes how guests will be taught how to “make their jacket/jeans/dungarees totally bespoke and personalised exactly how they’d like it. And all whilst meeting like-minded,creative people in the process – it’s a win-win!”
Geraldine and Taz have been known to put on similar events in the past like this charity crawl which went down a treat last month.
The denim workshop will take place in the colourful surroundings of the Tara Building this Saturday from 12 noon to 2pm. Tickets for €15 can be found here.
