The George is a severe bop every night of the week, but you could argue that Thursday night is the highlight.

Every Thursday, they serve up fantastic drink and food deals for students and after-work folk alike.

Pygmalion
With two for one cocktail (or 'pygtails') every night of the week, you can't go wrong heading to Pyg for a few tipples.
While it tends to be manic on Friday and Saturday, Thursdays aren't so bad. Plus, Thursday is free entry.

Toners
Hands down one of the best spots in the city centre for after-work drinks.
Now, it'll probably be jammed, but there's a reason for that. Toner's is known to pour one of the best pints of the black stuff in the city.
And their heated beer garden is open year-round. It's the comfort we look for in an Irish pub, but on a fairly large scale.

Berlin Bar
Berlin Bar is a class spot for live music, DJs, and food.
Their Afro-Caribbean Soul Food is to die for and go perfectly with a few beers, or perhaps some of their tasty cocktails.

The Grand Social
This boho-circus themed venue is a great shout of a Thursday.
Open until midnight, you can expect fabulous cocktails (some of which are two for €12) paired with unreal pizza and delicious bar grub.

NoLIta
Open until 11.30pm on Thursday, NoLIta is another great spot for some after-work bites and cocktails.
They have quite an extensive cocktail menu, as well as an unbelievable Italian-inspired dinner menu, from which you can order authentic Italian pizzas, pasta dishes and different bar bits such as wings and fries.

Dakota
Open until 1.30am on a Thursday, Dakota on South William St has possibly one of the longest cocktail lists in Dublin.
As well as that, they are also known for their 'celebration trees', available seven days a week. They normally cost €90 on the weekend, but if you head along on a Thursday, you can get it for €60.
They also have unreal dinner and finger food menus.

The Balck Door
If you're in the market for a late one (or a little bit of a mad one), then The Black Door on Harcourt Street is an ideal place for that on a Thursday night, because they start their weekend early.
Featuring great music by some of Dublin's best DJs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, it's the one spot that won't be rammed with college students on a mad sesh (we were all them at one stage).
The Black Door is open until 4am on Thursdays.
