There is something so deliciously refreshing about a good mojito. They clear the palate, whilst packing a punch of lime and minty flavours, and are so delicious they're dangerously drinkable.
There's been lots of variations on this Cuban drink over the years, but deep down our heart belongs to the humble and simplistic mojito. Considering summer is just around the corner, and every bar in the city is sprucing up their outdoor areas we thought it was about time to draw up a list of the top ten mojitos in Dublin.
Consider it a 'To Do' list, if you feel up to the challenge...
We can't decide which mojito on the menu is our favourite – the sparkling version which is finished off with a splash of bubbly, or the wildberry edition with fresh wild berries and some Chambord liqueur.
Known for their crazy concoctions, and insane apparatus for making drinks – we're happy to report that they keep things simple with their mojito recipe and it's insanely delicious.
It would make sense that a bar called the Mint Bar would serve mojitos, and jaysus are they good. This place in the Westin Hotel is one to check out for anyone that considers themselves a mojito aficionado.
Very chilled vibes in this spot, seriously sound bar staff and two mojitos for a €12 – you can't say no! They're the same mojitos that can be found in the Twisted Pepper on Abbey Street, if you're out for a boogie.
Not only do they have a stunning rooftop bar with amazing panoramic views of the city, but their Mojito Royal is made up of all the normal components and then finished with champagne. Very glam altogether!
The weekend has arrived, let's get cracking on this list!

We’re in the final countdown. Yes, we have speculated whether this 20 year old trend is slowly dying, perhaps evident by the fact there aren’t more cafés whipping up pumpkin spice and everything nice on this list, but basic as it may be, it’s a celebration of autumn in my eyes, and I can’t help but […]

Dublin is glutted with literary magazines. They’re ten a penny; if today’s penny is actually €15 each. In 2017 Justine Carbery wrote in The Irish Independent “literary journals proved to be constant stars in a fluctuating market. Ireland, with its rich history of independent literary magazines, finds itself in rude health today with many new […]

Not even at the peak of the Celtic Tiger did we have such a plethora of passionate food creatives doing bits and making waves. So to help you navigate the best of […]
(and Always) It’s never been more vital to support Queer-Owned Spaces in Dublin. Put your money where your morals are as often as you can. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I know that the people who run our bars, restaurants, and cafés shape the atmosphere more than the decor or the playlist ever […]
