Looks Like First Croke Park Gig For 2019 Is About To Be Confirmed And It’s A Fecking Massive One

Sure, the 2018 acts in Croke Park were daycent.

Michael Buble, Taylor Swift and The Rolling Stones all rocked the GAA HQ but it looks like the first concert announcement for 2019 is going to blow them all out of the water.

In an exclusive from The Irish Sun, they have confirmed that none other than Westlife will make their comeback with a massive concert in Croke Park early next summer.

The legendary Irish boy band will return to the place where they played their last ever farewell show six years ago.

The band were also meant to do a television documentary but that idea has been axed now since Westlife are refusing to work with Simon Cowell.

“It was a similar fly-on-the-wall doc to the one Take That made when they reformed in 2005.

“But Simon wanted the Westlife doc to air before tickets went on sale for the reunion tour but there wasn’t enough time to shoot anything before the announcement next month.”

Westlife's last two gigs were in Croke Park in late June, 2012. They played to a staggering 187,808 people over two nights.
