‘Emmerdale’ Star Chris Bisson Has Told About His Eventful First Trip To Dublin

Living in Dublin, we sometimes take for granted the fact that we never have to leave, unless we really want to.

Our capital has a justified reputation as one of Europe’s biggest party cities so it’s no surprise at all that people sometimes stick around a bit longer than intended. When we do go at it, we go at it very hard, as the fella says.

This very situation happened to Emmerdale star Chris Bisson, AKA Jai Sharma in the UK soap. Speaking on The Six O’Clock Show on Virgin Media, the actor revealed that on his first trip to Dublin, he enjoyed himself so much that he missed his flight home. You’ll argue that plenty of us have done it, by a few minutes here and there, but Chris was guilty of missing his by, oh, just the TWO AND A HALF DAYS.

He explained that he “got carried away” as his hotel asked him every morning if he would be staying an extra night. Sure why wouldn’t he? He went on to say that on the third day he decided he better head home before rocking up to Dublin Airport with his original ticket from two days previously.

Keep in mind that this was back in the day so the rules at airports were a little bit more lenient and the chancer managed to get on his flight.
