Rising Dublin band Fontaines D.C. have confirmed that they will be cancelling a number of festival dates due to health issues.
A statement on the group’s Twitter page states that ‘due to health issues, we find ourselves in the uncomfortable position of having to cancel the following festivals: Paleo Festival Nyon (Switzerland), Truck Festival (UK), Deer Shed Festival (UK), and Thing Festival (USA).
This is a very difficult statement to put out.

The message goes on to say ‘we apologise to all who were looking forward to attending these festivals.’
In June, the band performed a very well-received set at the Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin.
