Rising Dublin band Fontaines D.C. have confirmed that they will be cancelling a number of festival dates due to health issues.
A statement on the group's Twitter page states that 'due to health issues, we find ourselves in the uncomfortable position of having to cancel the following festivals: Paleo Festival Nyon (Switzerland), Truck Festival (UK), Deer Shed Festival (UK), and Thing Festival (USA).

The message goes on to say 'we apologise to all who were looking forward to attending these festivals.'
In June, the band performed a very well-received set at the Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin.
