Everybody Stay F*cking Calm – Krispy Kreme Donuts Are FINALLY Coming To Dublin

James Fenton

Back in April, we brought you the news that some hero had started a petition to bring Krispy Kreme Donuts to Ireland

Gráinne Biddle’s plea has now been signed by over 400 people and it appears her, and everyone else’s, prayers have been answered.

According to the Irish Times, the hugely popular American doughnut chain will park up in the capital in the near future, with Liffey Valley and Blanchardstown shopping centres reportedly being considered as potential destinations.

Tim Edwards, the real estate agent acting on behalf of Krispy Kreme said:

“They’re looking at expanding into Ireland. It’s a priority for them. It’s the next obvious place to go… there’s a real push on.”

Well, may we be the first to say céad míle fáilte to Tim and the Krispy Kreme team.

We just hope we don’t have to wait too long for this dollop of sprinkly, chocolately goodness.
