Fallon & Byrne Is Launching A New Brunch Menu And It Looks Amazing

Louise

Brunch has really come into its own in the last few years.

No longer is it something that’s not quite breakfast and or not quite lunch – it stands alone, and we never turn down an excuse to eat, so we’re not going to get in its way.

Brunch is a delicate affair – eat too much, you won’t be hungry later, eat too little, you’re watching the clock tick around to lunch time – but one of the places in Dublin sorting the intricacies of brunch for you is Fallon & Byrne.

We’re off to a tempting start with their adorably named ‘Brekkie Bites’, which include waffles and maple syrup (€4.95), with the added option of streaky bacon (+€2), mini salted caramel doughnuts (€4.95), and poached rhubarb (€4.95)

Moving on the ‘Eggs Et Al’, the star of the show is, quite obviously, eggs. Picture this… chorizo and chickpea cassoulet, two free-ranged baked eggs, with the F&B signature bakery baguette (€9.95). We don’t need to read any more – we’re sold.

If I’ve still not convinced you to get your brunch game going, I’ll just say this: pulled pork mac & cheese (€9.95) and warm Angus beef brisket sandwich (€13.95).

What brunch would be complete without the bubbles?

Kir Royal, with prosecco and crème de cassis, Mimosa – a classic, with Prosecco and freshly squeezed orange juice. Another favourite is the Bellini, featuring Prosecco and white peach purée, and Aperol Spritz, a refreshing combo of Prosecco, Aperol and soda water. All brunch bubblies are €8.

Finish off the brunch experience with a mixed cheese and charcuterie board (€13.95).

Now how does that grab ya?
