Five New Dublin Restaurants That Should Be On Your Radar

mariemadden

The only thing better than a much-loved, reliable restaurant is a brand new, shiny one that’s full of exciting possibilities.

We’re always on the lookout for new openings to make sure you’re the first to find out about the next big thing and luckily, there have been some very promising new ones in the city over the past few weeks.

Here are a few that should definitely be on your ‘must try’ list…

Urchin

This very cool restaurant recently opened downstairs at Cliff Townhouse, with amazing cocktails and some very adventurous food. It’s the perfect spot to head with your mates for a few hours of chats, laughs and nibbles.

Moro Kitchen

If you’re a fan of Moroccan food, this is one for you. It just opened over on Camden Street. It has a casual vibe and dishes like spicy harissa falafel wraps, Moroccan style eggs, aubergine paté, marinated grills and the classic merguez.

Klaw

This isn’t quite a new restaurant but it does have a new menu and our Alana was seriously impressed when she popped in for a seafood feast lately. Check out these pics!

Chilli Shack

This one isn’t even open yet but we are unbelievably excited about it! It’s opening its doors in Stoneybatter in a few weeks and the words ‘food porn’ were created for the menu – this wings, hot dogs and more deliciousness.

Pot-Bellied Pig

As you may have noticed, we have a soft spot for cute coffee shops and Rathmines got a new addition this week.

The owners hope “to provide customers with a place where they can come with friends or family and relax in comfort, knowing that they will get a delicious meal every time, from a team of passionate people who aren’t afraid to have a bit of craic along the way”. Sounds deadly.
