Priory Market, Ireland’s first full indoor food and beverage market is set to open in Tallaght Village this year.
This ambitious new venture promises to be a haven for food lovers. The space is slated to feature twelve world-class independent food artisans. As well as a dedicated craft brewery, and a vibrant cultural space.
According to a press release Priory Market is dedicated to “handcrafted excellence”, eschewing chain restaurants and fast food in favour of independent, high-quality vendors. Among the standout offerings are Neapolitan-style pizza crafted by Naples-trained pizzaiolo Paddy. There’s also award-winning Indian street food from Delhi2Dublin, and handmade fresh pasta from Italian chef Patrizio. Other highlights include Mexican cuisine from El Milagro, a live-fire grill, and a rotating selection of globally inspired dishes.
Elevating Dublin’s beverage scene, Priory Market will also house Ireland’s first full tank bar. The bar will serve award-winning beer straight from the onsite Priory Brewing facility. Visitors can enjoy a carefully curated selection of guest brews, premium wines from a dedicated wine bar, and handcrafted cocktails.
Beyond its food and drink offerings, Priory Market is positioning itself as a cultural hub. The space will feature an in-house coffee roastery, a dedicated theatre and event space for gigs, seminars, and community gatherings, and a platform where food, music, and creativity intersect. The market is set to create a dynamic new focal point for Tallaght, blending commerce and culture in a way that has not been seen before in Ireland.
The project is the brainchild of John Kearns, CEO of Partas. Partas us a local enterprise organisation committed to fostering economic growth in South Dublin.
With Tallaght Village undergoing a period of transformation, Priory Market is poised to become its beating heart.
Priory Market is expected to open its doors later this year, promising to redefine Dublin’s food landscape and firmly place Tallaght on the culinary map.
