This North Dublin Pizzeria Has Some Of The Best Wood Fired Pies You’ll Taste

Sarah

Pizza is one of the greatest food inventions ever created in the history of the world, I think we can all agree on that.

Soft warm dough, gooey cheese and a whole heap of delicious toppings all combine to make our mouths drool and our bellies swell with happy little food babies.

What’s harder to agree on though is where exactly does the best pizza in Dublin.

This is legit an impossible question to answer my friends, because I change my mind about my fave pizza place pretty much every month depending on what style of pizza I’m in the mood for.

Right now though, I am LOVING this little pizzeria in the unassuming suburb of Portmarnock.

Brezzis Wood Fired Pizza is centered around the huge wood fired oven in the restaurant, which is what makes their pizzas taste so damn great.

Everything tastes better from a wood fired oven.

Pizza crusts become irresistibly light and crisp. Pizza toppings become perfectly mouth-wateringly caramelized.

Just look at these tasty beauts you can feast on at Brezzis:

All of their pizzas are made to order using fresh dough made from 00 grade caputo Italian flour, they use fresh Irish Macroom buffalo mozzarella, and their Gubbeen salami is oh-my-god fantastic.

Try the Pizza Bianca (a personal fave), which has mozzarella, a white garlic base, pancetta, olives, and cherry tomatoes drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.

Mmmmm pizza-liscious.

Brezzis is open from: Mon – Fri: 4pm-11pm and Sat – Sun: 1pm-11pm.

Oh – and they do delivery to nearby areas too, so you can gorge yourself silly on their heavenly pizza pies from the comfort of your own home.

Stuck for what to eat this weekend? Get one of these crispy lads and you’ll be happy out.
