The rooftop bar craze continues with the news that the iconic Central Bank building on Dame Street is getting a rooftop bar and restaurant as part of a huge redevelopment.
Holy. F*ucking. YES.
Rumours of the exciting new addition to the city’s bar scene began in February, but The Taste have just reported that the construction for the rooftop has been confirmed.
The Central Bank building was bought for €67 million last year by a group of international investors, with the Hines and Peterson Group behind the redevelopment.
The re-development will also bring more than 12,500 square meters of retail, office and restaurants to Dublin’s city center.
So, hands up who’s looking forward to cocktails overlooking the cobblestones of Temple Bar?
