It’s a debate that has raged between Dubliners since the beginning of time – well, since about 1759 to be more specific.
You’re nearly always guaranteed a high-quality pint of Guinness in the capital but where in Dublin can one get their hands on the crème de la crème? The one venue where the pints of plain are poured so perfectly that people regularly come back for more? That pub which draws in new customers solely due to word spreading about the sheer deliciousness of their black stuff?
It’s a topic that has come up more than once in our office and yesterday, we finally decided to put the question to the people who matter – Lovin Dublin’s pint-drinking audience.
We took to our Facebook page to gauge the opinions of our readers and, as you would imagine with such a divisive topic, the answers were quite varied.
All well and good but it appears that the name of one Dublin pub cropped up more frequently than others. We can now reveal that the favoured spot in the capital for a pint of Guinness according to Lovin Dublin readers is – The Gravediggers in Glasnevin.

Given that John Kavanagh’s Gravediggers is one of the most famous and popular pubs on Dublin’s Northside, we reckon the title of ‘Best Pint Of Guinness In Dublin’ is well-earned.
See yez all there this weekend.
