Niall Horan was in the capital yesterday to play a sold-out show at the Olympia Theatre and by all accounts it seems people were very impressed.
A number of short clips have appeared online of the opening night of the One Directioner’s Flicker Sessions World Tour and while in some it’s hard to hear Niall over the screaming, the audience at the gig were generally full of praise for the Mullingar man.

It seems like Niall impressed the critics as well as the fans with Harry Guerin writing for RTÉ:
“With his well-drilled band already sounding like months on the road, his skills as a balladeer were impressive throughout. Upcoming Maren Morris duetSeeing Blind and the Fleetwood Mac-inspired Since We’re Alone showed that the masses have yet to hear his classiest songs, while the man himself contended that the record’s title track is the best thing he has written to date. He won’t be alone in that opinion, either.”
Let’s hope Niall comes back sooner rather than later.
