Twelve well-known buildings across Dublin will be lit up this Christmas.
Iconic buildings such as the Mansion House, Custom House and City Hall will be decked out in Christmas lights from early December.
The eco-friendly lights will be turned on from sunset to 2am every evening.
There are also plans to light up some of the bridges for the festive season.
Recently it was announced (much to the dismay of every single person in Dublin) that there would be no turning on ceremony this year.
Last year there were two parades of street performers on the Northside and the Southside before they switched on the lights on O’Connell Street and Grafton Street.
Needless to say, we’re pretty disappointed that the same isn’t happening this year.
The lights are already up, however, and are due to be turned on in the coming weeks.
