The sun is shining and the weather is sweet again, but we’ve got some important information for you before you make any day trip plans.

It’s just been announced that DARTS travelling between Dalkey and Greystones have been suspended until further notice due to damage caused by fire to signalling equipment at Bray.

Fortunately you’ll still be able to reach those destinations, as passengers can depart their train at Dun Laoghaire and their rail tickets will be accepted by Dublin Bus. Dublin Connolly to Rosslare Europort services will also have bus transfers between Connolly and Greystones.

The damage caused was so extensive that it’s currently unclear when the route will reopen, but it’ll be Monday morning at the very earliest.
