A Man Has Died And Three Seriously Injured In A Car Accident Overnight

A man has lost his life, and three others have been reported as seriously injured due to a two-car collision in north Dublin, last night. 

The car crash happened at 11.45pm near St Catherine’s Estate on Palmer Road, Rush. 

According to the Sunday World, the man, aged 35 years old, was the sole occupant of his car. He was also pronounced dead at the scene. His body has since been removed to Connolly Memorial Hospital.

The three people (one woman and two men) who were injured were travelling in the other car are being treated for their injuries at Beaumont and Connolly Memorial Hospital.

The scene, which was attended by Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade, has since been closed off pending a technical examination.
