A Man Is Fighting For His Life Following A Hit And Run In Dublin

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital this morning after being hit by a car in Artane.

According to RTÉ News, the man was struck by the car on Hazelwood Drive in Artane yesterday evening shortly after 10pm.

The driver failed to stop at the scene and the vehicle involved in the collision was later discovered close to Parnells GAA Club.

The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he is said to be fighting for his life today.

Gardai have appealed for a passerby who was at the scene to come forward.
