A man was tied to a pole after allegedly trying to steal from an American tourist in Dublin city centre yesterday.
The American also punched the alleged thief before tying him to a pole with camping rope on Moore Street before calling the gardaí.
According to Dublin Live, the tourist was a big man standing outside a shop with a Harley Davidson at the time.
A witness said, “The man then approached him and tried to take his bag and phone, but I’d say he regrets it now.”
