A woman has been charged in relation to the assault of her 3-year-old daughter, which left the toddler in a critical condition.
The woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, was charged last night at Bray District Court.
She will remain in custody until Thursday morning when she will appear at Bray District Court, according to the Irish Mirror.
Gardaí were called to the scene of the incident involving the child on Saturday at around 4pm at a house in Shankill.
The injured toddler was taken by ambulance to Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin, where she remains in a critical, but stable, condition.
