Remember Tim Peake?
He’s the British astronaut who’s currently based on the International Space Station – and whose launch into space last December caused a flurry of repetitive puns on Twitter.
Well today, without even being in Ireland, he got the best view of our beautiful island on a cloudless and serene St Patrick’s Day. And he was kind enough to share it on Twitter.

We’re definitely used to a certain level of special treatment from Space Station crew members, thanks to the affection showered upon us by the great Chris Hadfield – but this will do rather nicely for now.
