City Centre Collision Leads To Severe Delays On These Two Roads

Commuters faced much longer journeys home this evening after a collision between two buses on O’Connell Street.

The crash happened on the road heading northbound outside of the Ambassador theatre at around 4pm today.

Parnell Street and O’Connell street were then partially blocked and the Luas line was affected.

O'CONNELL ST: There is a collision between a bus and a coach on O’Connell St Northbound at the Ambassador Theatre blocking the Northbound route. Delays are building on approach and the Luas Green Line Northbound is blocked.

Gardaí tweeted, ‘Dublin city centre: Expect delays due to a road traffic collision top of O'Connell St. Please use alternative routes if possible.’
