The Irish Independent is reporting that one person was hospitalised following a car crash in the snow in Howth on Thursday night.

The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 8:30pm on Thursday night and Emergency services attended the scene.

Dublin Fire Brigade were assisted by the local Coast Guard as the car was stuck in a ditch on a steep hill.

The man in question was found "breathing and conscious" and is very lucky to be alive after a crash like this.
