Dublin Is Officially The Most Expensive City In The World To Buy A Christmas Tree

…until you realise how much effing money you’re spending.

Gone are the days of getting a cheap Christmas tree too. It’s been revealed that Dublin is the most expensive city to buy a tree in the world.

If you want to get yourself a tree for your house in the capital, it will set you back on average nearly €150.

This price, beats London by more than €80 and in New York the average tree costs just under €140.

If you want a change this Christmas, however, there’s only place to go.

Helsinki has been named as the number one city in the world to have the ultimate Christmas experience.

According to The Express in the UK, Laura Aalto, CEO of Helsinki Marketing, said: “In December, the city is full of Christmas markets and school bazaars offering local Christmas treats, Finnish design and handicrafts.

“Christmas in Helsinki is also about relaxing and spending time with your friends and family.

“Good ways to do that is by enjoying one of the magical Christmas concerts in the city or by popping into one of Helsinki’s public saunas.”
