Dublin Has Just Lost Its Place On The 2017 List Of Cycle Friendly Cities

Shortly after the news came that Dublin cyclists may be forced off the roads onto solely cycle paths, our fair city has just been kicked off the Copenhagenize Index - a ranking of the world's most bicycle-friendly cities.

Dublin entered the list in 2011 with an impressive ranking of 9th, dropped down to 11th in 2013, 15th in 2015 and now doesn't even feature in the top 20.

Copenhagenize said about the Dublin rating that: "After many years of progress, the city has stagnated, and to be honest, disappointed."

Jeez.
