Eoghan McDermott Is Doing An Extremely Sound Deed For One Lucky Irish Student

AmyBell

With all the drama going on in the world it can really get you down, but this little act of kindness gives us hope that there is still good in the world.

We love Pieta House and A Lust For Life’s new campaign that launched yesterday, #SoundEffect, that is showing just how nice us Irish can be.

Now RTE 2FM radio presenter, Eoghan McDermott, has gone and offered a spare room in his house for a student.

He took to Instagram this morning to offer his help to someone still looking for accommodation.

Myself and @aoifemelia1 are offering the spare room in our house free to a student for a week while they find full-time accommodation for college. It’s to support an amazing campaign by @a_lust_for_life and @pieta.house called #Soundeffect which is highlighting the decent side of people. We’re south side of Dublin, Knocklyon exit of M50, 1 down from Dundrum. Lots of buses to town etc. If you’re moving to Dublin from the country first time it can be daunting. Hopefully this will help someone line up lots of viewings and get sorted. Email me: [email protected] – I’ll get back to someone by Saturday. It’s a great campaign in a world that focuses so much on the negative as a default. Get behind it, post nice moments you encounter?. Peace x
